Juventus transfers: Chelsea and Spurs want Depay, Martial depends on Ronaldo

Juventus are looking for a new striker, but Italian sports papers claim Chelsea and Tottenham also want Memphis Depay, while Anthony Martial’s future at Man United depends on Cristiano Ronaldo.

Depay and Martial have emerged as Juventus’ main targets to bolster their attack. The Barcelona striker could terminate his contract at the Nou Camp and join a new club on a free transfer, but both Tottenham and Chelsea are said to be interested in the Dutchman.

Both Gazzetta dello Sport and Tuttosport report the Premier League sides are challenging Juventus for the signature of the 28-year-old.

The same sources mention Martial as the Bianconeri’s No.1 alternative to Depay, but the Frenchman’s future at Old Trafford is linked to Cristiano Ronaldo’s.

The France international isn’t a regular starter at Old Trafford but would remain at the club if Ronaldo leaves. The problem for Juventus is that they are looking for a quick solution, signing a new striker as soon as possible, while Ronaldo’s future may be decided only at the end of the summer transfer window.

As per La Gazzetta dello Sport, Max Allegri refused to sign PSG outcast Mauro Icardi, while Giovanni Simeone isn’t a concrete option for the Bianconeri.
