Massimiliano Allegri and Cristiano Giuntoli reportedly agree that Sergej Milinkovic-Savic is the ideal player to strengthen Juventus‘ midfield, but the Bianconeri must focus on sales first and could include Weston McKennie in a swap deal with Milan.

Wednesday’s printed edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (page 8) confirms SMS is Juventus’ primary target for the midfield. Allegri and Giuntoli agree that he’s the ideal player to improve the team in the middle of the park.

According to the report, Juventus are confident that Lazio‘s €40m asking price will lower during the summer, although the commission requested by the player’s agent could be an issue for the Serie A giants.

According to the report, Juventus are also interested in Domenico Berardi and are keeping a close eye on Spezia‘s Emil Holm, who Giuntoli had already scouted at Napoli.

The Serie A giants must focus on sales before making new purchases. Talks with West Ham for Denis Zakaria will continue today, according to Gazzetta, but Juventus will also listen to offers for Weston McKennie, Arthur and Alex Sandro.

According to Tuttosport (page 2), one option for McKennie is joining Milan in a swap deal with Pierre Kalulu. According to the report, Allegri spoke to Giuntoli on Tuesday, telling the new director he expects a ‘solid reinforcement’ if one between Federico Chiesa and Dusan Vlahovic leaves. The Turin-based paper claims on page 5 that Atletico Madrid’s Nahuel Molina is also a target for the Old Lady on the right wing, alongside Holm.

Il Corriere dello Sport (page 7) confirms Milinkovic-Savic is Juventus’ priority in midfield, but Atalanta‘s Teun Koopmeiners is a valid alternative for the Serie A giants.
