According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are strongly interested in Italy and Chelsea talent Cesare Casadei and are ready to bring him to Turin on loan with an option to buy or include him in the Dusan Vlahovic deal.
The former Inter midfielder was the best scorer at the U20 World Cup in Argentina and was named the Best Player of the Tournament.
According to Gazzetta, Juventus are strongly interested in the 20-year-old who joined Chelsea from Inter for €20m last summer.
Casadei spent the second part of 2022-23 at Reading in the English Championship, but the Blues reportedly want to test him in one of Europe’s first divisions in 2023-24.
Juventus are reportedly ready to welcome Casadei on loan but want an option to buy at the end of the season. The alternative is to include the Italian starlet in a swap deal for Dusan Vlahovic.
Chelsea don’t want to spend more than €60m for the Serbia international, adding one of their players in the deal to match the Old Lady’s €80m asking price.
The Serie A giants still prefer a plain cash offer, but Casadei would be their favourite option if the Premier League giants push for a player-plus-cash swap deal.
