Juventus striker Cristiano Ronaldo will reportedly decide his future after the Euros, while the Old Lady’s primary transfer target is a deep-lying playmaker.

The Old Lady are on the lookout for a regista and the likes of Miralem Pjanic and Manuel Locatelli have both been linked with a move to the Allianz Stadium.

Pjanic would be open to returning to Turin after one year in Barcelona, but Juventus can only afford to welcome him back on a loan deal, according to reports in Spain.

Locatelli, on the other hand, has a €40m price tag, but many other top clubs in Europe have set their sights on the 23-year-old.

According to Sky Sport Italia, new Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri has told the club’s directors that the signing of a deep-lying playmaker is a priority in the summer transfer window as Rodrigo Bentancur will be deployed as a mezzala, a centre midfielder who is not tasked with building the action from the back.

The Italian broadcasters also confirm Cristiano Ronaldo’s future is in doubt.

The Portuguese star has one year remaining in his contract with the Bianconeri, but could leave Turin in the summer.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Ronaldo will decide his future after the Euros, but Juventus need to sign a new striker regardless of his decision.

La Gazzetta dello Sport reported today Gabriel Jesus is Juventus’ top target to strengthen their attacking department in the upcoming transfer window.
