The contract of the Poland international expires this coming June, but Napoli still want €15-18m to sell the player in the January transfer window.
Fabrizio De Vecchi, a member of Milik’s entourage, confirmed on Friday, the Azzurri could see the 26-year-old leave as a free agent as they haven’t accepted bids from Atletico Madrid and Marseille.
According to Il Corriere dello Sport, De Vecchi will meet Juventus’ CFO Fabio Paratici next week to discuss the player’s future.
Milik is now free to sign a pre-contract agreement with any other club ahead of a free move in the summer.
Juventus will not match Napoli’s economic demands in January and unless the Partenopei lower their price-tag in the current transfer window, the Old Lady will try to sign the player as a free agent.
