According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Paulo Dybala’s agent will fly to Turin by the end of the month to discuss the striker’s contract extension.

Dybala sees his €7.5m-a-year contract expire in June 2022 and the Old Lady is willing to offer him a higher salary to convince him to stay at the club.

Dybala already rejected a €10m-a-year offer a year ago, but according to La Gazzetta dello Sport, he is willing to accept a similar offer this time around.

The pink paper reports the Bianconeri will make a similar proposal by the end of the month, when the player’s agent Jorge Antun will fly to Turin to meet the club.

Dybala spent considerable time on the treatment table last season, but he’s returned to Turin in shape and Massimiliano Allegri is ready to give him a starter spot at the Allianz Stadium in 2021-22.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport and many other reports in Italy, Juventus are confident that a deal can be reached so that Dybala can extend his stay at the club beyond June 2022.

The Argentinean has been linked with a move to Barcelona in a swap deal with Antoine Griezmann, but La Gazzetta dello Sport confirms the two clubs are not in talks to exchange the two players.

Dybala joined Juventus in a €40m deal from Palermo in 2015 and has scored 100 goals in 253 appearances with the Bianconeri.
