Juventus sent a message to Mario Mandzukic, who announced his decision to retire from football. ‘Together we lived a great adventure’.

The Bianconeri thanked the forward, who arrived at Juventus in July 2015 from Atletico Madrid. The Croatian picked up four Scudetti, three Coppa Italia and two Supercoppa Italiana during his time in Turin.

Mandzukic, who played 162 competitive games with the Bianconeri, had been without a club since leaving Milan after 2020-21 and reportedly had offers from other teams but decided to quit professional football.

“Together we lived a great adventure, it was wonderful to share part of your journey,” Juventus wrote in a message to Mandzukic.

“Thank you for everything you gave us and good luck for your future.”

  1. He gave Juve a lot (compared to Ronaldo) . He was sort of mistreated by Juve when Sarri decided that he doesn’t fit in his plans.

  2. There goes my hopes of him returning to be a super sub.

Grande mario! I wont ever forget your sacrifice and tenacity.💖💖💖

  3. That goal in the UCL final will never be forgotten. The perfect blend of fight and skill, great player for JUVE.

  4. Sad at how this legend was treated by Juve. Gave the club and the fans so much and was Juve through and through, unlike a certain recent individual who in the end mistreated the club.
