Juventus are reportedly considering a swap deal to sign Manuel Locatelli, but Miralem Pjanic is also pushing to return to Turin.

Locatelli, a product of Milan academy, is one of Juventus’ primary targets, but Sassuolo want €40m cash to sell the Italy international.

According to both Sky Sport and Il Corriere dello Sport, the Bianconeri could include Nicolò Rovella in a swap deal to lower Sassuolo’s asking price.

Rovella signed with the Old Lady in January but remained on loan at Genoa until the end of the season.

On paper, he should stay at the Stadio Marassi until the end of 2021-22, but multiple reports in Italy suggest the Italian midfielder could return to Turin earlier and either remain at the club or be included in the swap deal to land Locatelli.

According to Sky Sport Italia, Locatelli has also attracted the interest of many clubs outside Serie A.

The product of Milan academy is not Juventus’ only target to strengthen their midfield.

Miralem Pjanic is reportedly pushing to return to Turin after one year in Barcelona.

The 31-year-old joined the Catalans in a swap deal with Arthur one year ago but according to RAC1 his agents have told Barcelona directors the Bosnian midfielder wants to return to Turin.

The player’s representatives offered the Blaugrana to let Pjanic move back to Turin on loan for the next two seasons.
