Juventus tipped to give Miretti a chance against Venezia

Max Allegri could break with tradition and give Juventus youth team player Fabio Miretti his first start against Venezia.

It kicks off at the Allianz Juventus Stadium in Turin on Sunday at 11.30 UK time (10.30 GMT).

The Bianconeri are still in the thick of an injury crisis and are without Mattia De Sciglio, Juan Cuadrado, Manuel Locatelli, Weston McKennie, Kaio Jorge and Federico Chiesa.

Matthijs de Ligt is available again after a slightly issue and could start with Leonardo Bonucci in central defence.

Sky Sport Italia claim Allegri tested Miretti in midfield with Denis Zakaria and Adrien Rabiot, as Arthur Melo is available, but not 100 per cent fit.

Miretti is 18 years old and was added to the senior squad from the Juventus Under-23 team, which plays in Serie C.

He has already made two Serie A appearances for a handful of seconds and one Champions League cameo off the bench.

This would represent his first senior start in the Juventus jersey.
