Juventus have contacted OGC Nice to ask about the availability of Jean-Clair Todibo, claim reports in France, but the asking price is €30m.

According to RMC Sport, there has been initial contact to discuss potential terms, but the negotiations are at a very early stage.

It seems more likely that the Bianconeri could get him on loan with an option to buy rather than pay the full €30m fee, as he is under contract until June 2027.

Todibo made 46 competitive appearances for Nice last season and is already on the fringes of the senior France squad.

The 23-year-old plays as a centre-back and was only purchased from Barcelona in the summer of 2021 for €8.5m after an initial loan period.

He has also represented Benfica, Schalke 04 and Toulouse during his career.

Juve have quite a few defenders in the side, but could open up spaces if Leonardo Bonucci and Alex Sandro found a new club, therefore saving a great deal on wages.
