Juventus are planning ahead for their management rebuild and are dreaming of the possible return of Beppe Marotta, reports detail.
The 65-year-old Italian spent eight years as the Bianconeri’s CEO from 2010 to 2018, helping Andrea Agnelli take the club to the peak of Italian football. After his departure to Inter four years ago, things started to go wrong in Turin and it soon became apparent just how important Marotta was to the Old Lady.
As reported by La Repubblica, Juventus are tempted to try and bring back Marotta to help oversee their post-Agnelli era. No contacts have been made yet and the 65-year-old is contracted to Inter until 2025.
Current indications suggest that Marotta would be open to returning to Turin, partly because of his strong working relationship with coach Massimiliano Allegri.
Marotta famously carried out a number of impressive deals during his eight-year spell with the Old Lady, bringing in players like Andrea Pirlo and Paul Pogba on free transfers.
100% bring him back!
Don Beppe should not go back. He was disrespected by Agnelli and pushed out for no good reason. Look at what they got with Paratici. An upgrade, more like a colossal downgrade. He knew the books were cooked and the Ronaldo operation was a farce. But you have to give the Belarus of CL nights some credit. To acquire Ronaldo would be the equivalent of Norwich City getting Messi.
patron, get a life
if you use all that bad energy and poison to something useful better for all, especially for you.
Why would he go back to a cheating and stealing club that is facing penalties?! Does not make much sense and TMW are not a reliable source.
LOL some Piemonte Calcio fans are delusional, ready to believe anything.
Marotta himself stated that Inter is going to be his last club to manage, go check yourself if you want. He is aiming for institutional roles in the distant future.
