Paul Pogba partially trained on the pitch and with the ball at Continassa today while his teammates, including Angel Di Maria and Adrien Rabiot, prepared for tomorrow’s Champions League clash with PSG.

The France international has been out of action for several weeks due to a meniscus issue which has been treated with conservative therapy rather than surgery.

He has yet to make his first official appearance with the Serie A giants this season, but his path towards recovery is continuing smoothly as the ex-Man United midfielder has returned to training on the pitch.

Nicola Balice, one of the accredited journalists for today’s training session at Continassa (open to media for 15 minutes), claims Pogba was seen training on the pitch and with the ball before the beginning of the training session.

Football Italia understands Pogba also trained on the pitch on Sunday. Nevertheless, the Frenchman won’t be available against PSG tomorrow.

On the other hand, former PSG star Angel Di Maria and Adrien Rabiot are expected to be available in Paris as they’ve been training with the rest of the team.

Di Maria was subbed off during the break of Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Fiorentina with a calf problem, while Rabiot missed the game due to a minor injury.

Alex Sandro is training on the pitch today but separately from the rest of the group, so it remains to be seen if he’ll be available in Paris tomorrow.

  1. Thank God. Rabiot has been one of our best midfielders this season, along with Miretti. I expect Rabiot Paredes Locatelli and Miretti to come on after 60 minutes (Or maybe he will play instead of Locatelli).
