The agent of Juventus target Antonio Rudiger has reportedly called Real Madrid to offer the services of the Chelsea defender, revealing his salary request.

Rudiger’s contract at Stamford Bridge expires in the summer and the Blues are not allowed to negotiate a new deal until Chelsea’s ownership changes. The Premier League giants can’t arrange a new agreement with the Germany international due to sanctions imposed by the British Government on Roman Abramovich.

According to Marca, the player’s agent has called Real Madrid and told the La Liga giants that the 29-year-old is open to moving to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer but is looking for a four-year deal worth €55m, which includes salary and signing bonuses.

Real Madrid have yet to make a decision over the potential signing of Rudiger, whose agent also met Barcelona directors a few weeks ago. La Gazzetta dello Sport reported in February that Rudiger’s move to Juventus was a done deal, but there are no further confirmations regarding the defender’s move to Turin.

The ex-Roma star remains a target for the Serie A giants, who may need a replacement for Giorgio Chiellini if the Italy international retires or move to the MLS at the end of the season.

  1. Footballs going crazy, salary need to be capped and transfers, and force players to start to consider the project and aspirations rather than the money
It would allow teams to compete against each other
    Football is getting boring
