Juventus midfielder Fabio Miretti has left the Italy Under-21 training camp and will not be available for the coming European Championship qualifiers.

The 20-year-old broke into the Bianconeri first team last season and has remained a regular feature this term, seeing 459 minutes of action across 11 appearances. He scored the decisive goal in the derby with Fiorentina, his first in Serie A.

Miretti already has experienced in the Italy U-21 squad, having made eight caps since his debut in June of last year. He struggled for minutes at the European Championship in the summer, coming off the bench in the losses to France and Norway.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio, Miretti has now withdrawn from the Italy U-21 squad and will not be available for the qualifier against San Marino today. He’s also expected to miss the following match against Ireland on November 21.
