The forward was co-owned by the two clubs, but the Bianconeri sold their half of his registration to the Emilian side this summer.

However, there is a gentleman’s agreement for Berardi to move to Turin this summer, though the Neroverdi have warned they could sell him elsewhere.

Sky reports that the Old Lady will look to pre-empt that move by agreeing to pay €25m to bring the Italian Under-21 international to Juventus Stadium this summer.

Juve are also believed to be interested in Sime Vrsaljko, also of Sassuolo as Martin Caceres looks certain to leave at the end of his contract, with Napoli a potential destination.
