Thiago Motta confirms that Douglas Luiz and Nico Gonzalez are still on the treatment table and won’t be available for Juventus against Udinese on Saturday.

The Old Lady returns to the pitch tomorrow, visiting Udinese at the Bluenergy Stadium.

They’ll be without the long-term injured Arkadiusz Milik and Gleison Bremer, but new signings Douglas Luiz and Nico Gonzalez are also out of action due to muscle issues.

At a press conference on Friday, Motta confirmed that the South American duo is still unavailable while Teun Koopmeiners “is improving.”

Nico Gonzalez has one goal and one assist in six appearances across all competitions this season but has missed the last five games with muscular problems.

Douglas Luiz has not scored or assisted in nine Juventus appearances and was unavailable in the latest three games across all competitions.

Both players joined the Old Lady last summer.

During his pre-match press conference, Motta said that Dusan Vlahovic could rest against Udinese even if all Juventus players are “fit” and “not tired” in the opening stages of the campaign.
