Juventus have made an offer for Borussia Monchengladbach midfielder Denis Zakaria as they look to pull off a last minute deal.
The Bianconeri confirmed the €80m signing of Fiorentina star Dusan Vlahovic yesterday and now they’re working to make one final move before this month’s transfer window closes on Monday at 7pm UK time.
As reported by Fabrizio Romano, Juventus have submitted a €7m offer, including add-ons, for Zakaria. The 25-year-old Swiss midfielder’s contract expires with Borussia Monchengladbach at the end of this season and so the German side are now seriously considering the proposal.
In the meantime, the Bianconeri first need to free up space in their midfield. The top two candidates to depart currently at Rodrigo Bentancur, who is heavily linked with a move to Aston Villa, and Arthur Melo, who is linked with a move to Arsenal.
Zakaria has scored two goals and provided one assist in 16 Bundesliga appearances this season for Borussia Monchengladbach.
