Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic is out of Serbia’s squad for the upcoming Nations League games, but there are still eight Serie A-based players.

They are due to face Norway, Slovenia – twice – and Sweden in the Nations League next month.

Vlahovic had originally been in the 34-man squad, but was cut from the final list, reportedly due to an injury concern.

The 22-year-old striker scored 24 goals in 36 Serie A appearances between Fiorentina and Juventus this season, along with five goals in nine games for the Coppa Italia and Champions League.

However, his form plummeted in the final weeks of the campaign, scoring only one goal in his last five Serie A matches.

There are still eight players who ply their trade in Serie A and will be representing Serbia on international duty.

They include the Milinkovic-Savic brothers, Lazio midfielder Sergej and Torino goalkeeper Vanja, Matija Nastasic and Aleksa Terzic of Fiorentina, Sassuolo’s Filip Djuricic, Verona pair Ivan Ilic and Darko Lazovic, plus Torino’s Sasa Lukic.
