Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic showed he’s ready for the World Cup, as he came off the bench for Serbia, scored a goal and provided two assists in the 5-1 win over Bahrain.

The centre-forward had been struggling with a recurring groin inflammation over the last few weeks and missed several Bianconeri matches.

He has been training separately from the rest of the Serbia squad over the last few days and came off the bench at half-time in this afternoon’s friendly test against Bahrain.

Vlahovic made an immediate impact, within five minutes giving the assist to Dusan Tadic to go 2-1 up, then a minute after that finding the net himself.

There was another assist from Vlahovic for Fiorentina striker Luka Jovic in the final moments of the match.

Sampdoria forward Filip Djuricic completed the rout, as Tadic had opened the scoring.

Serbia open their Qatar 2022 tournament against Brazil on November 24.

They then face Cameroon on November 28 and Switzerland on December 2.
