Scorer of only 11 goals in 31 appearances this season, Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic has deleted his Instagram account.

The Serbia international scored his last goal against Freiburg in the second leg of the Europa League Round of 16 on March 16, while his last Serie A goal came on February 7, in a 3-0 win over Salernitana at the Stadio Arechi. This means he hasn’t scored or assisted in the last eight league matches, including Saturday’s 2-1 loss against Lazio.

The ex-Fiorentina striker has now deleted his Instagram account although, as reported by Gazzetta, it’s unclear whether his decision is linked to his poor run of form.

It also remain to be seen whether Vlahovic’s decision is temporary or definitive. The Bianconeri star had two million followers on the platform.

Surely, this is not the happiest moment for Vlahovic on the pitch, given that the 23-year-old also suffered an ankle injury in Juventus’ loss to Lazio on Saturday and will be assessed by Juventus medical staff ahead of Thursday’s match against Sporting CP in the first leg of the Europa League quarter-final.
