Juventus coach Massimiliano Allegri confirmed that Moise Kean will be absent for a few weeks due to a tibia problem.

The 23-year-old Italian striker has featured regularly in Turin this term, seeing 472 minutes of action across 12 appearances. Whilst he hasn’t directly contributed to a goal, Allegri has been left happy with the centre forward’s work over the last few months.

Juventus still sit two points behind league leaders Inter and will be hoping to close the gap in the coming weeks, aware that their lack of European competition could prove to be a key advantage in the second half of the season.

As confirmed in Allegri’s press conference today, Kean will be unavailable for three to four weeks after suffering from a tibia problem, which he’s been carefully managing with the Juventus medical department for the last few weeks.

Should the 23-year-old be kept out of action for a month, he’d miss the Bianconeri’s coming matches against Genoa, Frosinone, Roma, Salernitana and Sassuolo. He could return for the clash with Lecce on January 21.
