Juventus still looking for a buyer for Kean – report

Now that Memphis Depay is only a step away from signing for Juventus, the club are switching their focus to finding a buyer for unneeded forward Moise Kean.

The 22-year-old Italian forward returned to the Bianconeri last year on a two-year loan deal with a €28m conditional obligation to buy clause attached, but he failed to convince Massimiliano Allegri last season. Kean only scored five goals in 32 Serie A appearances and has now been cut from the project in Turin.

As highlighted by TMW, Juventus are currently working on finalising the arrival of Depay, who will put pen to paper on a two-year contract soon. Once this has been completed, they’ll switch all of their efforts onto selling Kean, keen to find a buyer before the month ends.

The Bianconeri cannot let him leave on loan because that would force them to immediately budget the €28m of his permanence clause, so instead they’re looking for either a definitive sale or a player swap deal.

No solution has been found yet but Juventus are almost ready to really get to work.
