Inter are back in the battle for Genoa wing-back Andrea Cambiaso, but Juventus remain the favourites thanks also to player exchanges.

The 22-year-old plays primarily as a left-back, but can also work on the right or even in a more advanced role.

He has five caps for Italy at Under-21 level and impressed this season with one goal and four assists in 26 Serie A appearances for Genoa.

According to Sportitalia transfer expert Alfredo Pedullà, Inter are diving back in after having fallen behind in the race for Cambiaso, as they were the first to meet with his agent last week.

However, Juve remain the favourites and hope to finalise the details over the weekend to make sure there are no nasty surprises later in the summer.

The offer on the table from the Bianconeri is €3m cash, plus defender Radu Dragusin – who was already on loan at Genoa this term – and youth team creative midfielder Michele Baseggio.
