Juventus players showed unity on and off the pitch in their 3-0 win over Salernitana on Tuesday, inspired by a brace of Dusan Vlahovic.

The Serbia international broke the deadlock from the spot at minute 26 at the Stadio Arechi last night, scoring the second at minute 47.

During his post-match interview with DAZN, Vlahovic thanked his teammate Angel Di Maria for letting him take a penalty, allowing him to score his first goal for Juventus in almost four months.

The former Fiorentina striker did the same on social media, posting an Instagram story where he once again showed his appreciation for El Fideo, writing ‘thanks magic daddy’ in Spanish. The same post was shared by Di Maria who added a heart emoji.

Nicolò Fagioli, who assisted Vlahovic for his second goal, praised Vlahovic on Instagram and so did Cuadrado, posting a picture from the dressing room alongside DV9 and Di Maria.

It says a lot about the spirit of Juventus players who have recently been docked 15 points but are still showing unity on and off the pitch.

The future remains uncertain for the Old Lady given that a new points deduction could hit the team later in the season for the so-called ‘salary manoeuvre.’

The Bianconeri return to the pitch this coming Sunday, hosting their rivals Fiorentina at the Allianz Stadium.
