Nicolo Fagioli is hoping to be given a chance at Juventus but would rather leave permanently than be loaned out again, according to reports in Italy.

The 21-year-old spent last season at Cremonese, where he made 33 appearances as his side earned promotion to Serie A.

Fagioli appears likely to be loaned out again for the 2022-23 campaign but Calciomercato.com suggest he is keen to stay and fight for a place in the first team.

The report claims a meeting took place on Thursday between Fagioli and the club, where finances and the midfielder’s future were discussed.

It adds that Juve are reluctant to offer more than €1 million-per-year in wages while manager Massimiliano Allegri would be ready to add Fagioli to his squad were a new contract signed soon.

Fagioli’s current deal expires at the end of the season and, according to the report, would prefer not to pen an extension if he does not have guarantees over his future in Black and White.

  1. He needs a club like Verona where he will play every week. Same goes with Miretti these top clubs only want to buy foreign players so these young stars need to leave these clubs

  2. Both Fagioli & Miretti Should be playing for juve – coming off the bench – arthur poor and needs to be swapped for zaniola

    sellmckennie and rabbiot, bernandesci

  3. Is incredible juve prefer to play arthur and

ramsey instead of give miretti, fagioli

    or rannochia a fair chance.
