Paul Pogba is working hard to recover from his recent knee surgery and is now preparing for the next step with Juventus.

The 29-year-old Frenchman returned to Turin in the summer after leaving Manchester United on a free transfer, putting pen to paper on a lucrative four-year contract. Pogba’s Juventus return didn’t start as he hoped and he’s yet to make an appearance this campaign, remaining sidelined after a knee operation at the start of last month.

As reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport, Pogba is entering the final phase of his recovery now and will gradually start returning to squad training with Juventus next week.

He’ll likely miss the next game against Empoli on October 21 but could make an appearance against Benfica on October 25, should things go to plan.

The return of Pogba will give Massimiliano Allegri’s squad a key boost after their disappointing start to the season.
