Alvaro Morata had a nasty surprise when he returned home from Barcelona, as the Juventus striker’s wife locked him out!
The Bianconeri were beaten 3-0 in Catalunya last night for the pre-season Gamper Trophy.
Morata revealed on an Instagram Stories video that he flew back to Turin with the team, arrived at his home at 4am and found the doors locked.
As a security precaution, the elevators are also locked at that time in the morning, so the forward had to book a hotel at 4am in order to get some sleep.
His wife, Italian social media influencer Alice Campello, assured she hadn’t done it on purpose, she simply fell asleep and forgot to unlock the security system for his return.
She also showed why in her own Instagram Stories, as Alice was watching the game with their three young children, who insisted on asking questions constantly about who was playing and why.
Couldn’t he simply call his wife and ask her to disarm the security system?
