Juventus striker Paulo Dybala was replaced by Weston McKennie in the second half of the Turin derby following a suspected thigh injury.

The Argentinean striker asked to be replaced at the beginning of the second half at the Allianz Stadium after a shot on target. McKennie was introduced without even warming up and Dybala put some ice on his left thigh once he sat on the bench.

He wasn’t limping when he left the pitch, so Juventus hope his injury is not too severe. La Joya has already missed nine games due to muscle injuries this season.

The Bianconeri face Villareal in the first leg of the Champions League Round of 16 on Tuesday and could travel to Spain without three of their four centre-backs.

Leonardo Bonucci and Giorgio Chiellini are dealing with calf injuries, while Daniele Rugani was forced to the sidelines following a physical issue suffered during the warm-up of the derby della Mole tonight.
