El Fideo took to social media to reply to Il Corriere dello Sport editor Ivan Zazzaroni who had called him and his teammate Paul Pogba ‘football cadavers’ during a TV program.
Di Maria replied on Instagram with two laughing emojis.
The Argentina World Cup winner joined Juventus as a free agent last summer, signing a one-year deal.
He struggled with injuries in the first part of the season but has been a key player for Max Allegri’s side in the second part of the campaign.
The 35-year-old has eight goals and seven assists in 25 appearances across all competitions this season.
