Federico Chiesa was not happy to be subbed off against Fiorentina on Sunday and was reproached by Massimiliano Allegri after sitting on the bench, reports in Italy claim.
The Italy international started against his former club in Turin yesterday and was replaced at minute 83.
According to Gazzetta and Repubblica, he wasn’t happy with Allegri’s decision and left the pitch shaking his head. Allegri wasn’t happy with the player’s attitude either and blamed the former Viola star once he sat on the bench.
It was a tense match for the Italian tactician, who also argued with a fan in the main stand in the final minutes of the game.
Allegri explained after the final whistle that the supporter had openly criticised a few Juventus players and urged fans to show unity and support his lads, especially at this tough moment for the club.
The Serie A giants have 29 points after 22 matches but would sit second in the table with 44 points without a 15-point deduction that hit the club in January.
