Juventus coach Thiago Motta has named his 19-man squad list for tonight’s Serie A game against Como, including USMNT midfielder Weston McKennie.

Juventus boss Motta has named his squad list for tonight’s Serie A opener against Como at the Allianz Stadium in Turin.

It is confirmed that McKennie has been reintegrated into the first team after spending part of the pre-season with players out of the coach’s project.

Motta said at a pre-match press conference on Sunday that McKennie was a “valuable” player for Juventus.

The coach added that 19 players would be enough for the Old Lady’s season opener against Como.

Juventus’ NextGen striker Samuel Mbangula has been included in the team alongside Nicolò Savona and Jonas Rouhi, who were recently permanently promoted to the first team for the 2024-25 campaign.

Federico Chiesa, Arthur, Mattia De Sciglio, and Filip Kostic are not part of Motta’s project, so they are not available against Como. Daniele Rugani is on the verge of joining Ajax and left Turin on Monday morning.
