Juventus have Adrien Rabiot back in the squad and Daniele Rugani is expected to start against Sampdoria, but still no room for Arthur Melo.

It kicks off on Sunday at 19.45 UK time (18.45 GMT) at the Stadio Luigi Ferraris, also known commonly as Marassi.

Max Allegri has numerous injury problems to deal with, missing Paul Pogba, Federico Chiesa, Angel Di Maria, Wojciech Szczesny, Kaio Jorge, Marley Ake and Arthur Melo.

There are some doubts over whether Rabiot and Denis Zakaria will see out the season at Juventus, but they are both in the squad anyway, the Frenchman returning after suspension.

Moise Kean is also back, as he too was banned for the 3-0 win over Sassuolo.

With Leonardo Bonucci not 100 per cent fit, Allegri has to choose between Rugani and Federico Gatti.

The latest reports from Sky Sport Italia suggest he is leaning towards Rugani, also because Gatti has never played in Serie A before.

  1. I’m with you both Martinn and Tony. Rabiot and Rugani should not be starting and there are simply too many expensive foreigners at this club who don’t play for the colours and have no grinta (Arthur, Rabbiot, Sandro). Don’t substitute them with more foreigners – play the Italian kids, at least they will give you an honest performance and will try their guts out and are technically good enough for the Serie A. Why the heck are the club going for another Mercenary in Depay when they could have got Scamacca or Raspadori.
