Juventus’ decision to enter a training retreat after their defeat to Maccabi Haifa has reportedly divided the squad, highlighting the discontent after their tough start.

The Bianconeri were left embarrassed in Israel after suffering a disastrous 2-0 loss, leaving them with almost no hope of qualifying for the Round of 16 of the Champions League. Juventus are clearly in a state of crisis and pressure is continuing to mount on coach Massimiliano Allegri, president Andrea Agnelli and the players.

As reported by journalist Romeo Agresti, some of the Juventus players disagreed with the need for a training retreat after the Maccabi Haifa loss, a sign of divisions within the club.

Blame for the poor start initially was laid with Allegri but now the mood is seemingly turning, with many fans pointing the finger of blame at the playing squad instead. Banners seen outside the Allianz Stadium last night backed the Italian coach and called on the squad to show their commitment to the shirt.

  1. Of course it’s the squad. Last year they wanted a day off after getting eliminated from the Champions League.

  2. That is whole lot of truth. They dont have respect for this shirt.

Bonucci, cuadrado, alex sandro are shadow of players they were. Mcckenie never had quality. Locatell, danilo, paredes are overated.

  3. Scezny, perin, danilo, bremer, desciglio, pogba, fagioli, miretti, chiesa, vlahlvic, milik are fine for the rest i dont wanna hear

  4. The end is nigh…! ! Allegri is a dead man walking, say whatever you want but when it comes between choosing a coach or the team history knows whos the winner….
    The only question is when

  5. CALMAAA!!!

What is up with all this hate for mountain goat Max, Mayor of Maccabi. Need I remind everyone, he is a 2 time CL silver medalist and 6 time scudetto winning coach. Once with a stellar Milan and side and 5 times without no competition and the groundwork given to him. Ritiro or no ritiro, the legend of bush league calcio will correct the ship and 8th spot glory awaits. Next term with no European football, the 7/9 will have plenty of time to work on the back, back, down, down.

  6. Problem is not Allegri….problem is the lack of quality they really lack quality CL football in serie A is even going to be a problem

  7. @Ace Villager, work on your grammar son. At least you’re smart enough not to form paragraphs as I know it is beyond your capabilities. One step at a time Forrest.
