According to Sky Sport Italia, Juventus are on the verge of signing Kenan Yildiz from Bayern Munich as a free agent, beating competition from Barcelona.

Yildiz, 17, is unwilling to sign a contract extension with the Bundesliga giants and Juventus are close to reaching an agreement with him.

Sky Sport Italia reports that Juventus are leading the race to sign the promising attacking midfielder and will likely beat Barcelona, who have also made an offer to sign Yildiz.

The U17 Turkey international can also play as a right or left winger and hasn’t made his senior debut with Bayern Munich. Yildiz will play in Juventus U19 squad (Primavera) once his transfer is complete.

The Bundesliga giants and Juventus are strictly connected as, according to Sky Sport in Germany, the Bavarians have opened talks to sign Matthijs de Ligt.

The Dutch centre-back is also in talks with Chelsea, who remain ahead in the race for his signature. Neither club have yet reached an agreement with the Bianconeri, who may agree to sell De Ligt for less than his €120 release clause.

  1. if bayern do not want to renew- that tells you something juve- not worth it – bayern youth development is very good – way better than ours – we somehow damage all our youth players development

  2. Have you thought that it might be the players choice. Not Bayerns? It reminds me how juve signed pogba

  3. Sun Tzu Max will make sure he never sees the first team. He will be fed up on page 2 out of 10, 000 having to read the catenaccio bible authored by PhD Max. Chapter and verse all in ancient Latin lol.

  4. @bianconeri – your mistaken – it may be the player choice to want tome come to us, but its juve board who sill sign him and we dont need him, our youth team dont need him to help them improve
