Juventus have reportedly set a new date for a meeting with Paulo Dybala’s agent Jorge Antun and should sit down with him on Monday.

The Argentinean striker sees his current deal expire at the end of the season and negotiations over a contract extension have led nowhere so far. Juventus director Maurizio Arrivabene has confirmed that the club had reached an agreement with the player’s entourage, but the scenario has now changed.

Juventus and Dybala had reportedly shaken hands on a new €10m-a-year deal, but the offer is no longer on the table. Juventus have changed their stance due to financial reasons and following the player’s physical issues this season.

The two parties were supposed to meet last week, but the meeting was postponed because Massimiliano Allegri wanted a total commitment on the pitch before games against Sampdoria and Villarreal.

Dybala is on a €7.3m-a-year deal in Turin and Juventus may offer him a lower salary, so his stay at the club is in doubt. Dybala joined Juventus in a €40m deal from Palermo in 2015. He has scored 112 goals in 282 games with the Serie A giants.
