Giorgio Chiellini is not the only Juventus player heading to MLS, as youth team striker Giacomo Vrioni is reportedly sold to the New England Revolution.

Bianconeri captain Chiellini has hung up his Italy boots and moved to LAFC for a new stage of his career in Major League Soccer.

According to Sportitalia and Gazzetta dello Sport writer Giovanni Albanese, the veteran will be followed by Vrioni.

It is believed to be a deal worth €3.6m ($3.8m) for the Juventus Under-23 player.

The 23-year-old centre-forward has just returned from a loan spell in Austria with WSG Tirol.

Born in Italy, he decided to play international football for his family’s country of Albania and already has six senior caps.

He had been linked with Sampdoria, FC Groningen and Clermont Foot, having originally come through the Samp youth academy.

Vrioni scored 21 goals in 30 competitive appearances for WSG Tirol last season, along with five assists.
