Injuries have limited Kaio Jorge’s impact at Juventus since his arrival last year and the club are working to find a suitable club in Serie A for the 20-year-old.

The Bianconeri picked up the highly touted talent from Santos in August of last year in a deal worth around €1.5m, taking a chance on the Brazilian forward. He was integrated into Massimiliano Allegri’s first team in Turin and made a handful of cameo appearances before being relegated to the bench.

As detailed by Calciomercato.it, a patellar tendon tear forced Kaio Jorge to the sidelines in February, ending his debut season with Juventus early and leaving him stuck dealing with a troubling injury.

The 20-year-old is set to return just ahead of the World Cup break and the Bianconeri are keen to find the right club to send him away to on loan in January, hoping he can continue his development and find some consistency after a difficult year.

Keeping Kaio Jorge in Italy also allows the club continue taking advantage of the Growth Decree law, which is only valid should he stay in the peninsula for at least two years. Flamengo have made an approach for the 20-year-old but a return to Brazil is not on the cards for the time being.
