According to Il Corriere di Bergamo newspaper, Bianconeri director of sport Fabio Paratici was in the stands during Sunday’s Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”10″>Atalanta-Fiorentina match.
It is believed he was scouting Zappacosta, a 22-year-old right-back who can also play in a more advanced role.
He joined Atalanta’s prestigious youth academy in January 2011 and spent a couple of loan spells in Serie B with Avellino.
Zappacosta is an Italy Under-21 international with nine caps to his name.
Atalanta have other young players Juve are interested in, including midfielder Daniele Baselli and striker Richmond Boakye.
Boakye is already co-owned by Juve and Genoa, but spending this season on loan in Bergamo.
