According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juventus are pushing to sign Manuel Locatelli, and a new meeting with Sassuolo has been scheduled for tomorrow.

The Italy midfielder has attracted interest from the best clubs in Europe and Juventus begun talks to sign him last week.

Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid and Borussia Dortmund have also been linked with securing the player’s services.

New Bianconeri sporting director Federico Cherubini met Neroverdi’s CEO Giovanni Carnevali last week in Sassuolo, and a new meeting has been scheduled for tomorrow, according to the report.

Sassuolo value Locatelli at €40m and expect a cash offer to sell the product of Milan academy.

On the other hand, Juventus wants to match Sassuolo’s demands, including one player in a player-plus-cash swap deal.

Either Radu Dragusin, Nicolò Fagioli or Felix Correia are tipped to be offered to Sassuolo.

The Serie A giants would also want to sign the player on loan with an obligation to buy of circa €30m.

Talks between the two parties are ongoing, but the dal is not done yet.

Meantime, Luca Pellegrini will return from his loan at Genoa, while Mattia De Sciglio will be sold after his loan spell at Lyon.
