Juventus star Cristiano Ronaldo is expected to return to Turin today and start his pre-season on Monday.

The contract of the 36-year-old expires in June 2022 and even if he’s been linked with a move away from Turin in the summer, the Bianconeri haven’t received any offer, so the former Real Madrid and Manchester United talisman is expected to play at the Allianz Stadium for one more season.

“Ronaldo will return to training on Monday and he will stay with us,” Juventus vice president Pavel Nedved said after the Bianconeri’s 3-1 win over Cesena on Saturday.

Ronaldo joined Juventus in the summer of 2018 and has scored 101 goals in 133 appearances since.

The five-time Ballon d’Or winner has been linked with a move to PSG in a swap deal with Mauro Icardi, but only if Kylian Mbappé joins Real Madrid this summer.

However, Juventus insist Ronaldo will return to Turin to stay, so he is expected to land at Turin’s Caselle airport today and begin his pre-season at Continassa on Monday.
