Quagliarella was expected to renew with Sampdoria but might get an opportunity to return to Juventus for the last chapter of his career.

Juventus and Pirlo know him well, given his past at the Bianconeri between 2011 and 2014, and the tactician considers him useful for the ideas at the Allianz Stadium.

The newspaper reveals Juventus have contacted Sampdoria to understand if a move for the former Italy international could be possible.

Quagliarella’s contract expires in June 2021 and was expected to meet with the Blucerchiati to extend for a further year in Liguria.

The player must decide if he wants to renew with Samp or make an ambitious move back to the Old Lady.

Quagliarella has scored seven goals in 14 Serie A games this term and has bagged 93 in 214 games for the Blucerchiati.

He played 102 games for Juventus and contributed 30 goals in the process, picking up three Scudetti and two Supercoppa Italiana during his stint with the Bianconeri.
