Juventus have reportedly asked Manchester City for Gabriel Jesus, on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

According to Calciomercato.it, the Bianconeri and their new coach Max Allegri believe Gabriel Jesus would bring something different to their front line, joining Cristiano Ronaldo, Paulo Dybala and Alvaro Morata.

The 24-year-old Brazilian can play as a centre-forward, but also on the right or left of a trident attack.

He is not first choice at Manchester City and has been given a price-tag of €60-65m.

That is beyond Juve’s capabilities right now, so they hope the Premier League champions will accept a paid loan with option to buy at the end of the season.

By that stage, the Old Lady will know more about the situation with Dybala and Ronaldo’s contracts, while they’ll also decide whether to purchase Morata outright from Atletico Madrid.

Gabriel Jesus scored 14 goals and provided four assists in 43 competitive games for the Citizens last season.
