President Andrea Agnelli is under investigation for false accounting along with other current and former club directors, including vice president Pavel Nedved and Fabio Paratici, now at Tottenham.

“Juventus Football Club S.p.A. (“Juventus” or the “Company”) acknowledges that the Public Prosecutor’s Office of the Court of Turin has started investigations against the Company and some of its current officers (Andrea Agnelli, Pavel Nedved and Stefano Cerrato) and former officers concerning item “Revenues from players’ registration rights,” Juventus statement read.

“The Company is cooperating with the investigators and with CONSOB and trusts that it will clarify any aspect of interest to it as it believes to have acted in compliance with the laws and regulations governing the preparation of financial reports, in accordance with accounting principles and in line with the international practice in the football industry and market conditions.”

  1. Hmm. Funny how things come to light. You cannot run from your own shadow. Defeats to Ajax Lyon and Porto exposed the financial ruin this club is in. Rather than do what honest Inter did and sell some star players, they lied and cheated again to cover the frailties. Serie C meets Jucentus. No escape from this one. Superleague makes sense now , the club is bankrupt..

  2. Some of their fans still believe Juve is not involved in shady businesses for years and just everyone is up to get them. Lol As if they only checked Juve accounts and not other clubs. Obviously they won’t get anything out of this investigation other than their president reputation ruined. Why are they even pushing for the super league which already proved to be a failed project ? Are they really that desperate to be in competition where they can not be relegated.

  3. FIGC has conducted several investigations on Juve in the last 10 years yet Juve has won 90% of titles within that period.

Inter fans like the one above can keep crying all they want. It changes nothing.

  4. dear interisti, let’s see how your chinese owners will ruin your club. I gonna enjoy it! You won once in a decade and already have such a big face! Honest club? Do not be ridiculous!
This investigation is funny, because a player real value can not be defined and as amortization is an accounting principle, the higher value you take a player the higher amortization you will pay in the next 5 years. So where is the big bargain ?
On the other hand, as Juventus is on stock market do not forget every financial statement is approved by an auditor company…
I see more like an attack from figc and seferin’s uefa because of SL (of which you inter also was a founder).

  5. To the Inter fans above, you must be suffering from short term memory loss, because both Milan clubs have been investigated for the same claims not long ago. I take it you don’t live in glass houses?!!!

  6. Looks like other big teams have better accountants… like Man City for example?

So Uefa couldn’t do anything legally to Juve via the Super Leauge? Let’s go down another road and cause them issues!

Real and Barca… your turn soon!

  7. How come nobody investigated the transfers of Neymar, Mbappe, Greelish, Lukaku? Funny how saudi and russian billionairs get away with that. The WC 2018 and 2022 hosting, the miraculous FFP escape by psg and city, the illegal shutdown of the Super League project. fifa and uefa are the snakes nest of the football world
