Angel Di Maria will remain out of action for at least 10 days due to an adductor injury, Juventus confirmed.

El Fideo was subbed off after barely one hour in his debut Serie A game against Sassuolo on Monday night.

He played a key role in the Bianconeri’s 3-0 win with one goal and one assist. However, Max Allegri will be forced to do without the Argentinean star for – at least – the next ten days.

Juventus have confirmed that the ex-PSG and Manchester United star has suffered a low-degree lesion in the adductor of his left thigh.

The Serie A giants specify that Di Maria’s condition will be assessed again in 10 days.

The Argentinean star underwent medical examinations at the J Medical this morning (VIDEO).

Juventus face Sampdoria away at Marassi in the next Serie A game and will host José Mourinho’s Roma at the Allianz Stadium on Saturday, August 27.
