Exams undergone by Fabio Miretti on Wednesday morning ruled out fractures for the young Juventus midfielder.
The 19-year-old had been stretched off during Juventus’ 3-0 win over Salernitana on Tuesday due to an ankle injury and underwent a medical examination at the J Medical in Turin this morning.
The Bianconeri said in an official statement that medical checks excluded ankle fractures for their midfielder, who will now begin his rehab.
It is still unclear how long the 19-year-old will remain out of action.
Miretti made his senior debut with the Bianconeri in 2021-22 and has played 25 games across all competitions this season.
A product of Juventus academy, Miretti has made three appearances with Italy U21 and earned his first senior Azzurri cap this past November, coming off the bench in a 2-0 loss against Austria.
Miretti signed a contract extension with Juventus in the summer of 2022, and his current deal at the Allianz Stadium expires in June 2026.
