Juventus’ 3-0 win over Malmo in the Champions League saw the Bianconeri register their first clean sheet in all competitions since March.

The last time Juventus kept a clean sheet was in their home 3-0 win over Spezia on March 2 with Andrea Pirlo in charge.

It was followed by 16 games in the 2020-21 campaign where the Bianconeri conceded at least one goal.

Massimiliano Allegri’s second spell in Turin saw the Bianconeri collect just one point from their opening three Serie A games.

They were held to a 2-2 draw by Udinese in their opening league game and suffered defeats against Empoli and Napoli.

Tonight, Juventus opened their Champions League campaign by beating Malmo 3-0 in Sweden.

Their goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny was blamed by fans for his costly howlers against Udinese and Napoli, but Allegri defended the Poland international publicly.

The former Arsenal man started between the sticks against Malmo tonight as he had done six months ago against Spezia.

Juventus take on Milan at the Allianz Stadium on Sunday.
