Juan Cuadrado seemed destined to leave Juventus on a free transfer at the end of this month but the club have reportedly started to reconsider their plans.
The 35-year-old Colombian, whose been attached to the Bianconeri since 2015, was a prominent part of Massimiliano Allegri’s squad in the Piedmont capital this season, seeing over 3200 minutes of action across 47 appearances.
For months now, Juventus have been inclined to let Cuadrado leave on a free transfer, wanting to rejuvenate the squad a little, but their off-pitch concerns and uncertainties have caused the club to reflect on things.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Juventus are now considering the idea of offering Cuadrado a new one-year contract, believing that it may be useful to keep a known entity in the squad amidst their various upheavals.
The Bianconeri are still waiting to see if Napoli sporting director Cristiano Giuntoli will arrive or not, and so are wary of making any significant changes to the squad.
