Juventus receive Vlahovic injury boost after loss to Udinese

Juventus striker Dusan Vlahovic partially worked with the group on Tuesday but will complete a full training session with his teammates tomorrow.

Juventus star Vlahovic is close to returning to action after missing Monday’s 1-0 loss against Udinese with a slight muscle injury.

Football Italia understands Vlahovic partially trained with his teammates at Continassa on Tuesday morning but will return to group training on Wednesday.

The Juventus players who were not involved in Monday’s defeat against Udinese intensively trained on the pitch today.

Juventus are preparing for the next Serie A game against Hellas Verona at the Stadio Bentegodi.

They earned just one point in the last three Serie A games, losing the two most recent matches against Inter and Udinese.

Vlahovic has scored 12 goals in 23 appearances across all competitions this season and was voted the Juventus Player of the Month for January 2024.

Monday’s loss to Udinese means Juventus are seven points below table leaders Inter, who also have a game in hand.
