Teenage talent Tommaso Mancini has arrived in Turin this evening, ready to complete a transfer from Vicenza to Juventus tomorrow.
The Bianconeri beat out Milan for the 18-year-old forward’s signature, adding another talented youngster to their squad. Mancini broke into the Vicenza first team last season and showed signs of potential across his eight Serie B appearances.
As highlighted by Calciomercato.com, Mancini has now arrived at the J-Hotel in Turin, ready to join the Juventus Under-23 squad. He’ll undergo the usual pre-transfer medicals with the Old Lady tomorrow before putting pen to paper on a four-year contract.
Juventus will pay Vicenza around €2.5m for the 18-year-old Italian forward, who’ll be sent to U-23 squad in Serie C to continue his development.
Mancini has already made seven appearances for the Italy Under-19 squad and looks set to become a strong centre forward, although it’s hard to imagine him breaking into the Juventus first team any time soon.
Well done on moving fast to secire him, all the best to the talented kid
