According to Tuttosport newspaper, Benfica and Sporting CP are interested in Juventus-owned Arthur and Kaio Jorge, so their sales would help the Bianconeri finance the purchase of Teun Koopmeiners from Atalanta.
Multiple sources in Italy claim Koopmeiners is Juventus’ primary midfield target for next season. According to Tuttosport, the Serie A giants plan to secure his signature in the summer.
The Turin-based paper reports that Atalanta’s asking price for the Dutch midfielder is in the region of 65m-70m, so Juventus need a few sales to afford his signature.
According to the report, Benfica are interested in Brazilian midfielder Arthur, who is currently on loan at Fiorentina, while Sporting CP want Kaio Jorge, scorer of three goals in 16 Serie A appearances at Frosinone.
Tuttosport claims that selling both players would help Juventus raise €35m, so basically half of Atalanta’s asking price for Koopmeiners.
Juventus have already spoken to the midfielder’s agent Bart Baving, but more clubs are interested in the 26-year-old, including Tottenham and Manchester United.
